INTERNATIONAL ROUNDTABLE MEETING 07.11.2024 – ONLINE
The International Roundtable Meeting began with a welcome to attendees and an outline of the meeting’s agenda, emphasizing the importance of the project on worker displacement. Representatives from partner organizations shared summaries of their national workshops, highlighting key conclusions and challenges in disseminating the project and ensuring portal access.
An expert presented the structure and content of the Information Portal, detailing its four main sections: Information, Access, Vodcast, and Updates. Key improvements were discussed, such as organizing the Information section with subfolders for easier navigation and creating a vodcast template to standardize video recordings and interviews. Partners were asked to verify the portal’s functionality and report issues for prompt resolution.
Participants then discussed dissemination strategies for the portal to reach more workers and employers, agreeing to publish a newsletter by mid-November, enhance advisory services, and establish a forum for advisors, with English as the main language.
The session concluded with a discussion on the development of a Manual on posting regulations for workers and employers, covering legal frameworks, social security, and challenges. The proposed structure and content received support from attendees.
